Arrow Maze Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Arrow Maze (“Arrow Maze,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the game.
1. Information stored on your device
Arrow Maze stores gameplay and preference information locally on your device so the game can remember your experience. This may include your language choice, sound and music settings, current and unlocked levels, star results, and in-game hint or grid counts.
This local game data is not sent to our servers. The app does not require an account and does not provide developer-operated cloud sync. You can use the in-app Privacy Center to clear local game data. Removing the app or clearing its app data also removes locally stored game data, subject to Android’s normal behavior.
2. Advertising, consent, and Google Mobile Ads
Arrow Maze is free and uses rewarded and interstitial advertising through Google Mobile Ads (GMA). The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent information on every cold start. UMP decides whether a message is needed based on the user’s region and current consent state.
The European regulations message is configured for the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. A separate US state regulations message is used where applicable. In other regions, the app does not proactively show the GDPR message.
If UMP reports that ads can be requested, the app follows the resulting consent strategy. If the UMP update fails or does not finish within the app’s 10-second limit, the app uses a controlled non-personalized ads (NPA) fallback. This fallback is a resilience measure, not a replacement for UMP: while UMP is unavailable, the app may be unable to confirm the latest EEA consent state, so this limitation is recorded as a compliance risk.
GMA and its advertising partners may process an Android advertising identifier or other device identifiers, device and app information, IP address or approximate location inferred from it, ad requests and interactions, diagnostics, and performance information for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Google’s processing and retention are governed by its own policies and terms. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
3. Information you send to us
If you email us for support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request, troubleshoot the app, and keep appropriate support records.
We do not provide an in-game social profile, user account, user-generated content service, or in-app purchase system.
4. Information we do not intentionally collect through the game
The core game does not need access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location. We do not include a separate developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service. GMA may nevertheless make network requests and process the information described in Section 2.
5. Retention, security, and international processing
Local game data remains on your device until you clear it, remove the app, or the operating system removes it. Advertising providers retain information according to their policies and operational, legal, security, and fraud-prevention needs. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and maintain necessary records.
Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. We use the platform and service-provider controls available to the app, but no method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free.
6. Your choices and requests
- Use the in-app Privacy Center to open this policy, clear local game data, and—when UMP makes it available—manage advertising privacy choices through UMP’s privacy options form.
- Use the privacy and advertising controls available in Android and Google Play. The game does not provide a separate custom identifier control and does not directly upload raw advertising identifiers.
- Contact us about a privacy question or a request concerning information you sent directly to us. Because gameplay data is stored locally and no Arrow Maze account or game server is used, we generally cannot retrieve or delete that local data remotely; clear it in the app or remove the app instead.
7. Children
Arrow Maze does not knowingly ask children to submit personal information to us. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Advertising shown to users is also subject to the requirements of Google Play and the advertising provider.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Arrow Maze after an update means that you have read the revised policy.
