Arrow Maze Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 余芳 伍, the developer of Arrow Maze (“Arrow Maze,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the game.
1. Information stored on your device
Arrow Maze stores gameplay and preference information locally on your device so the game can remember your experience. This may include your language choice, sound and music settings, current and unlocked levels, star results, saved games, hint counts, and the time a rewarded ad was actually shown for ad frequency and hint eligibility.
This local game data is not sent to our servers. The app does not require an account and does not provide developer-operated cloud sync. You can use the in-app Privacy Center to clear local game data. Removing the app or clearing its app data also removes locally stored game data, subject to the operating system’s normal behavior.
2. Advertising, consent, and privacy-preserving attribution
Arrow Maze is free and uses rewarded and interstitial advertising through Google Mobile Ads (GMA). The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent information on cold starts. UMP decides whether a message is needed based on the user’s region and current consent state.
UMP may display applicable regional privacy messages, including European regulations messages and US state regulations messages, according to the settings of the advertising service and the SDK’s consent state.
Updated versions request Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) permission before updating UMP. With your permission, Google Mobile Ads may use your device advertising identifier (IDFA) for more relevant advertising and measurement across apps and websites. If you decline or permission is unavailable, you can continue playing; the SDK respects system permission and applicable consent signals. ATT permission does not override UMP choices. Apple’s SKAdNetwork also supports privacy-preserving attribution.
Updated versions implementing the October 2026 advertising update initialize and request advertising only when Google UMP’s canRequestAds() permits it. The app does not bypass this permission after a timeout or because of a country or language setting. If an update fails, valid prior consent managed by the SDK determines whether ads may be requested; an unknown state does not permit requests.
Google and its advertising partners may process advertising or other device identifiers, device and app information, IP address or approximate location inferred from it, ad requests and interactions, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance information for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Advertising personalization and available signals depend on applicable consent and system permissions. Google controls retention under its own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Earlier released versions do not request ATT and use non-personalized ad requests. They may continue with a non-personalized fallback after an unsuccessful UMP update. The October 2026 update removes that fallback; this policy describes both behaviors during the transition.
3. Information you send to us
If you email us for support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request, troubleshoot the app, and keep appropriate support records.
We do not provide an in-game social profile, user account, user-generated content service, or in-app purchase system.
4. Information we do not intentionally collect through the game
The core game does not need access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location. We do not include a separate developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service. GMA may nevertheless make network requests and process the information described in Section 2.
5. Retention, security, and international processing
Local game data remains on your device until you clear it, remove the app, or the operating system removes it. Advertising providers retain information according to their policies and operational, legal, security, and fraud-prevention needs. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and maintain necessary records.
Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. We use the platform and service-provider controls available to the app, but no method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free.
6. Your choices and requests
- Use the in-app Privacy Center to open this policy, clear local game data, and—when UMP makes it available—manage regional advertising privacy choices through UMP’s privacy options form.
- Use Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to manage ATT permission. You can decline and continue playing. The app does not reward you for granting tracking permission. Manage applicable advertising consent through the in-app Privacy Center.
- Contact us about a privacy question or a request concerning information you sent directly to us. Because gameplay data is stored locally and no Arrow Maze account or game server is used, we generally cannot retrieve or delete that local data remotely; clear it in the app or remove the app instead.
7. Children
Arrow Maze does not knowingly ask children to submit personal information to us. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Advertising shown to users is also subject to the requirements of the applicable platform and advertising provider.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Arrow Maze after an update means that you have read the revised policy.
